These chewable wafers provide Deglycyrrhizinated Licorice - with less than 3% Glycyrrhizinic Acid - in its most effective form.

Studies have shown that for DGL to be effective, it must be chewed in the mouth rather than taken as capsules or tablets. The use of DGL avoids the sodium and fluid retention that can be induced by use of the whole licorice extract over time.

The extract is standardized for 5% gingerols, the active constituents.
