Product Description

Lactospore Probiotic is an effective, shelf-stable lactic acid probiotic (L. sporogenes - minimum of 150 million per caplet) combined with fructooligosaccharides (FOS) to provide essential nutrients to promote probiotic growth and maintenance in the intestinal tract.

Produces the most beneficial L(+) form of lactic acid. Lactospore Flora caplets are free of the most common allergens, including milk, sugar, starch, salt, colors, dyes, yeast and gluten.

Lactospore® is a preparation containing a superior sporulated strain of lactic acid producing bacteria, Lactobacillus sporogenes. It is beneficial in the gastro-intestinal tract.

These spores, on activation in the environment of the stomach, germinate and proliferate in the intestine, producing lactic acid. The unique advantages of Lactospore® include room temperature stability, compatibility with other ingredients and proven effectiveness. It produces L(+)-lactic acid only.

Fructooligosaccharides (FOS)
Fructooligosaccharides occur in a variety of plants including onion, asparagus root, tubers of Jerusalem artichoke, wheat, and triticale.

FOS has been reported to help enhance the levels of beneficial gastrointestinal microflora.

Available in 60-caplet bottle size.
